Hello!
My name is Kristin and, if the blog name didn't give it away, I'm an interior designer. I'm also a self - proclaimed nerd, a grad student at SCAD-Atlanta, and a big fan of architecture, photography, travel, and iced chais. In a nutshell: I'm a lover of good design of all kinds.

hmm. It seems flat? I don’t know the proper terminology. Maybe they need to visit D:ID archives. There is some wall art and picture hanging tips there. I like the textures and colors.

the rug reminds me of grass. neat. but the bench on right and the large vase behind it seems to make the whole thing a bit lopsided. but the colors are really nice with the wood and white.

The rug is throwing the whole thing off. The furniture is quite formal and then the rug is playful and very casual. Plus the room just looks empty . . . incomplete. . . it’s got a long way to go. But I would start by finding a way to unify the color scheme.

I like it. Its the rug recalling grass that carries the room with its distinguishing playfulness & ironic wit. Adding more would be tacky adding less would be incomplete. I like these polls, Kristen!! So fun to see what everyone thinks!!
