Hello, Hello!

How was everyone’s weekend? Did you have any small adventures? Or did you sleep in late and cozy up with a loved one? The weather in Georgia was absolutely perfect – sunny with a high of 75 and a light breeze! I had a nice weekend and celebrated my big sister’s birthday with family and friends, enjoyed delicious frozen margaritas, spray painted a few wooden frames white (one of which was part of her birthday present), and even had time to relax and watch a movie or two. I also got a lot of work accomplished on a mini-series that I have up my sleeve. I’ll be sharing those on Discover:ID next month!
I’m sure you’re wondering about those cute dishes (above). Aren’t they fun? I love the fact that they are shaped like buttons. I can’t tell if the holes are painted or are, in fact, real holes. I would think that holes would be inconvenient for a dish to have….
Well, I hope you stick around because throughout the morning I’ll be posting our weekly Spark Plugs*, Design Jargon, and I even have a new poll.

It looks like you can see the grain structure of the table through the holes. I think they’re real.
