Monday Musing – October 3.0

Can I just tell you that yesterday was a great day? I feel bad for Monday because I’m not sure it can truly surpass my fabulous Sunday. First of all, there was sunshine. Sunshine for the first time in days! I’m a total sucker for sunny, chilly weather. It just doesn’t get any better than light breezes, cute sweaters, Starbucks, and boots.
Speaking of which, I tried these babies on yesterday and now I’m dying to have them. Am I silly for wanting motorcycle boots? Should I get them?
I’m also thrilled to have found four books at the thrift store for $1.99 each. I almost bought one of these books at Barnes and Noble the other day for $29.95! Instead I got all four for less than $10.00. What’s not to love about that?Thank goodness for waiting and thank goodness for thrift stores!
The real cherry on top, though? A surprise visit from a certain someone who took me out on a date! We saw Where the Wild Things Are. Have you seen it yet? I liked it, but I’d never read the book before. I really don’t know how it was supposed to be, y’know?
I really enjoyed my day of sunshine, books, and surprises. I hope everyone had an equally nice weekend!

Now you have to take a pic of yourself WITH those wicked boots! There’s a pair of grey ones from Nine West that I want. I can’t try them on because I know I’ll end up buying them.
