Jargon * Faux Bois

faux bois – “false wood” or “fake wood” refers to the artistic imitation of wood or wood grains in various media.  You can literally find faux bois on bath towels, jewelry, rugs, pillows, or even used as a painting technique.  After reading this post, I can guarantee that you will start seeing it more.
