Design Jargon*Adaptive Reuse
It goes without saying that many old buildings often outlive their original purposes. Adaptive reuse is a process that adapts these buildings for new uses while retaining their historic features. The Architecture of Happiness
In my honest opinion, I believe there are two types of Interior Designers: those who prefer the technical side (space planning, drafting, detailing, etc.) and those who are more interested in aesthetics (furniture and finish selection, etc.). Some designers are particularly good at space planning and some are far better picking the finishes.
Now About Then
I am in love with this month’s issue of Dwell Magazine. What can I say? The Editor’s Note had me at hello…

Indie Craft Experience – Atlanta
I had the best time at the Holiday Shopping Extravaganza hosted by I.C.E – Atlanta. It was my first time attending such an event and I was surprised by everything I saw. Booths were filled with hats, hair pins, scarves, purses, gorgeous jewelry, illustrative art, and even soap!
In a nutshell, it was awesome.
